The outdoor living concept has boomed in the UK over the last decade or so, where people are looking to expand their internal living space seamlessly outdoor and in to the garden.

You only need to look at the various supporting products on offer to realise how much this has grown. As little as 15 years ago the offering from the DIY stores for garden furniture was a just of white or green pvc chairs and not much more than that, now the offering can be a catalogue in itself, or a huge area of the store, with BBQs, furniture heating and lights, and many more product types available to help make the garden look great and become a functional area.

The people at Aspiration Blinds have long been at the forefront of technologies available to create the ideal outdoor living space. Our product range has had to grow massively over recent years in order to meet our client’s needs.

The big obstacle we face in the UK when designing the outdoor living space obviously is how to deal with the weather. The UK weather is so unpredictable, and we are not just talking about the obviously inclement winter, spring and autumn months, in the UK we can’t guarantee nice weather in the middle of July. Therefore we have developed an offering that allows our customers to design the outdoor area to guarantee use throughout the year, allowing them  to plan and enjoy a BBQ in the middle of summer regardless of what the UK weather conditions throw at you.

Aspiration blinds range now includes, folding arm awnings, retractable canopies, louvered roof verandas, all of which can be controlled and opened and closed to deal with the weather conditions as they occur.  These can all be added to with screens to act as wind breaks, glass sliding doors, textured fascia’s and even rising glass balustrade than can rise and shut at the press of a button.

Other accessories include lights and heaters, even speakers, to give the outdoor area the indoor feel.
