Aspiration Blinds on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Garden Case Studies 29.08.2017 As seen on TV, Aspiration Blinds Bolton are proud to have one of their recent installs selected to appear on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Garden TV show. Selected to be a feature installation in there outdoor living sections to show how your garden can benefit from a covered area. The system they choose was an install we at Aspiration Blinds are particularly proud of, a large louvered roof veranda give the customer complete weather control for their outside seating/dining area. The area can be dry all year round and at the press of a button the louver swing open to let the day light in, the louver or the ultimate in sun protection, soaking up the suns heat and harmful rays, yet still letting day light through and ventilation to avoid that stuffy feel. When it comes to rain control the system is fault less, the extruded louvers seamless close to create a water proof roof, draining the rain water in to an integrated guttering system and using the legs as down pipes to spill the water out at ground level. The client also doesn’t need to worry about the noise of the rain water as this is minimised by both the shape and thickness of the extrusion of the blades. The system was added to with various accessories to give a truly all year round use of the outdoor area. Light bars in the roof illuminate the area for use into the evening hours, these are dimmable to get the ambience just right. Rain sensor, for the days or nights when the rain comes in and the blades have accidently been left in the open position, a few spots of rain hit the sensors plate and automatically close the blades to keep garden furniture and cushions dry, allow you to come out in the morning for breakfast without the need to dry down the area. Glass sliding doors, these frameless glass panels slide neatly passed each other, parking up to one side or bi parting either way, bringing them to the closed position to the chilly wind away giving a room outdoors feel. Wooden shutters, these outdoor shutters made from red cedar provide privacy, shading and ventilation when required, in this installation we combined them with fixed glass panels to give and light and airy feel, but also a warm that only red cedar can provide. All in all the area looks fantastic and takes control of the outdoor area to another level.
